Wednesday Walk Where do you like to walk
This post is for Wednesday walk challenge

Not having bene out for many recent walks I thought for this Wednesday walk postI would have a question for you all
Where is your favorite spot for walking?
For me the answer is two fold, firstly for me an ideal walk is by the water, and secondly with not many or any people around hence why I love my early morning walks when most other perhaps one could say sane people are still sleeping, I find if I manage to achieve both of these i find it so calm and peaceful walking.
And this post I will share a few spots I have walked over the last year and are probably in the categories many may feel they prefer walking
Starting with a shot of a walk on a trail in the woods, surrounded by the lovely greens of Nature

I just noticed as I was adding that photos that it had a very high ISO of 12800 and yet isn't that bad a photo and not to noisy
As I said I love walks by the water, where a river, lake or by the sea, and by the sea I dont mind if its a rugged rocky beach

I even find walking through a cemetery calm and relaxing checking out the names on the headstones and imaging especially on older headstones how their life was.
Now i know some find cemeteries creepy and have no interesting in walking them , but they dont freak me out in fact we live right beside a cemetery which doesnt bother me, but I do have one work colleague who is totally phased out by that and said if he ever visits us here we will meet somewhere else he will not come to out house.

Well to be totally honest I just like walking, sitting still for a while drives me nuts LOL

Now going shopping is not my idea of a fun walk, I like to get in get what I need and get out, so walking in a city center is not high on my list of places to walk, but early morning with not many around and with cobblestone streets thats a different story and something I do now and again

Wednesday Walk is a challenge started by me, the idea is to get out for a short walk and get some shots of what you can see within a short distance of your home office or wherever you start. And this is my entry for this week, but first, let me explain the challenge.
This is my post for the Wednesday Walk challenge hosted by myself, let me first explain the guidelines
Try and get out once a week for a short walk, can be from your office, home or anywhere really and walk for a few blocks or a few minutes looking for things to get shots of.
Your walk does not have to be on a Wednesday I just ask if possible to share your walk photos on a Wednesday.
Try and get a few shots not just one
Add a bit of a write up about where you walked
Just one Wednesday Walk tagged post a week
You can look for anything in general or decide on one subject you want to get shots off.
Make a point of looking around and up and see what you can find to get shots of that otherwise you may miss
Do a post with the shots you get on a Wednesday and tag it with #wednesdaywalk, also if you happen to join, please leave a link to your post in a comment on this post and I will try and visit them all, especially if its not one of the first 5 tags or I may miss seeing it .
Following me and re-Hiving the post so more see it would be appreciated but isn't a rule just a suggestion.
I am not strict on these rules and hence why they are called guidelines and not rules
I will try and visit, and upvote all who take part in the Wednesday Walk.
I hope a few of you may find this an interesting challenge and decide to join in.

Love the beach shot, looks so calm, certainly a place to spend the early morning trying to see the sunrise.

Lovely photographs. Walking along the beach side even I like. I do walk their for hours if its evening time. And I just like to walk along our road side, say hi to people who knows me etc. A nice road along greeneries, few homes, so many big shady trees on either side of the road.

My favorite place to walk is probably the disc golf course. It doesn't really matter which one. Just as long as I am on the course. Beyond that, I would have to say anywhere near water, and finally, the park down the road from our house is quite beautiful and I always enjoy our time there.
and I still havent tried out disc golf, I keep meaning to pop into a sports store and get one but as of yet I never have LOL
They make some really good starter sets for not too much on Amazon. You really need a couple different discs to really appreciate the game. At the very least get a midrange and a putter.
I am sure I have said it to you before, my plan is to buy a disc or as you say a set and I can pop to the cemetery to try them out since its right next door

I like walks in nature preferrably without a lot of traffic on the trails. Nature can be forest, beach, a country road, doesn't matter much 🙂 Getting out there and being present in the moment are what its all about for me.

Early morning is the perfect time to enjoy some moments of solitude out in nature. You have many wonderful places to enjoy.

Your photos are very beautiful, the ones taken by the sea are also the ones I like the most. Your friend is wrong about the cemetery, my particular criterion is that we have to be afraid of the living and we live inside them, don't you think? This beach is quite beautiful 😍
Everything looks like magical paths like the one with the trees, but also the boats and the sea fascinate me. The deserted city street reminds me of thrillers. One more beautiful than the other. Beautiful walk. Thank you @tattoodjay 😃
Beautiful sunrises as always! I like strolling through cemeteries as well, they're peaceful places. Some of those older cemeteries around there can be up to 400 years old. Just imagine what life was like back then!

As always beautiful pictures from your walks. You are just like me, I don't like walking in crowded areas. I love the neighbourhood early in the morning or late in the evening when there's minimal pedestrian traffic. Weaving through crowds of people is draining; I prefer a peaceful solo walk in nice fresh air.

Well I must admit anywhere I go out walking in nature I love. But like you I love water, and funnily enough on my post today I did mention I like being near water 🤣

Hey thanks man for the prize this week! I too haven’t been out for many walks unfortunately but hoping that will change now that the weather around here is warming up a touch! That weird time of year for sure where we are between the types haha.
Have you ever taken the grand kids to do maple syrup tours? If not you should see if they do any near you! It’s a lot of fun and it’s the perfect time of year for it!
As for where I like to walk - that’s a hard one. I go lots of places with my son and yeah the trails are nice but so aren’t the beaches, rivers, oceans. I love ‘em all!
