Why did the history book go to therapy? Because it had too many unresolved/unsolved/unbelievable issues !!!
I struggled in high school, not gonna lie. I was OK at math, but I couldn't catch a break when it came to history...always having a problem with the whole 'passed' part of it.
I always get that Keanu Reeves time traveling movie confused with the Michael j fox one ...I always think "Bach to the Future" but it's actually Mozart in that mall music store scene.
History makes us dizzy.
Because history goes round and round and round.
Because it tends to repeat itself.
happy to get mentioned by you.
I was always jealous of other children's toys as a young lad. My friends all had gi Joe's and ninja turtles-but I was stuck with my declaration of independence playset. I would have them battle the army of Napoleon Bonaparte, it was super lame.
I complained to my dad all the time,"why dad? Why can't I be like normal kids?!"
He was a tough parent, insisting that I play with historical figures and all, but now that I'm older I don't hold it against him anymore.
I bet history class is so much more interesting to learn these days in school-we never got to learn about those ancient aliens back in my day...my nephew hates school, but he says the history channel is out of this world!
"Why were the pirates so fond of their history lessons? Because they really treasured their booty-cles."
Cleopatra may have been the last ruler of the Ptolemaic Kingdom of Egypt, but she was certain that her kingdom would continue after her death, as it had an important location on that great river. I guess she was in Da Nile.
I'm a big history buff. I always get excited when i see a post about history in my timeline.
George Washington was so cheap, he could take a dollar and stretch it all the way from here to the other side of the potamac river!
Why is she a historian?
Oh yeah, she loves history!
