Hello friends of the Hive community, thanks for joining me today in another of my post, today I bring you my participation for the logo of @ragnarok.game, which ends on February 9, here I share with you my design process which is my first proposal and how I came to the idea to do it.
Hola amigos de la comunidad Hive, gracias por acompañarme hoy en otro de mis post, hoy les traigo mi participación para el logo de @ragnarok.game, que finaliza el 9 de febrero, aquí les comparto mi proceso de diseño que es mi primera propuesta y el cómo llegue a la idea para hacerlo.

At the beginning of my designs I always draw them in a traditional way, because usually I always like to start drawing and then pass it to digital, although this is the first proposal that I present actually is the third sketch, but I decided to do it first because I really liked how it was, one of the ideas I wanted to convey or represent through this logo, according to the information I read, was the war and the participation of the gods in it, and I think the best way to represent any of those gods was with Odin, since he would be the leader of the war and compacting the forms in a circle that would come to represent the earth, one of the things I wanted to add was a wolf since it is a mythological animal and very characteristic for its strength and endurance plus these animals work in packs one of the things I liked when I read about Ragnarok, is that it talked about a wolf where it said that he would run eternally through the skies until one day devour the sun and I loved how it sounded so I wanted to add it. So in the main part we would have Odin as the leader and the one who represents the Gods and various kingdoms, then secondly the name of the game Ragnarok and at the bottom the wolf where all these are compacted in the form of a circle with the title in the middle, As I am handling a concept with very specific and diverse ideas such as universal conflict, and kingdoms that clash between them, I think the best way to represent such a specific concept in the most minimalist and visually pleasing way would be with text plus elements that support or give support to the title in the concept that is being designed.
Al inicio de mis diseños siempre suelo dibujarlos de manera tradicional, ya que usualmente siempre me gusta comenzar dibujando para luego pasarlo a digital, aunque esta es la primera propuesta que presento en realidad es el tercer boceto, pero decidí hacerlo de primero porque me gustó mucho como quedo, una de las ideas que quería trasmitir o representar mediante en este logo, según la información que leí, era la guerra y la participación que tienen los dioses en ella, y creo que la mejor forma de representar a alguno de esos dioses era con Odín, ya que él sería el líder de la guerra y compactando las formas en un círculo que vendría a representar la tierra, una de las cosas que quise agregar fue un lobo ya que es un animal mitológico y muy característico por su fuerza y resistencia además de que estos animales trabajan en manada una de las cosas que me gusto cuando leí sobre Ragnarok, es que hablaba sobre un lobo donde decía que él correría eternamente por los cielos hasta algún día devorase el sol y me encanto como sonaba eso así que quise agregarlo. Entonces en la parte principal tendríamos a Odín como el líder y el que representa a los Dioses y diversos reinos, luego de segundo el nombre del juego Ragnarok y en la parte inferior el lobo donde todos estos están compactados en la forma de un círculo con el título en el medio, y Como estoy manejando un concepto con ideas muy específicas y diversas como el conflicto universal, y reinos que chocan entre ellos, creo que la mejor forma de representar un concepto tan especifico de la forma más minimalista y visualmente agradable seria con texto más elementos que apoyen o den soporte al título en el concepto que se está diseñando.

For the design of the letters I was inspired by various cultures, mostly the Nordic typography has a thickness with some wear for a more ancient appearance, highlighting a degradation of golden color as a base, but personally to give more that ancient, mythological, mysterious and powerful style I proceed to edit it with Photoshop CS6, to add the effects that enhance the style I expect in the design.
Para el diseño de las letras me inspiré en diversas culturas, más que todo la nórdica la tipografía posee un grosor con algo de desgaste para una apariencia más antigua, destacando una degradación de color dorado como base, pero en lo personal para darle más ese estilo antiguo, mitológico, misterioso y poderoso procedo a editarlo con Photoshop CS6, para agregarle los efectos que realcen ese estilo que espero en el diseño.

There can be multiple "next big games" on Hive 😉 & there WILL be.
Splinterlands is really the biggest then psyberx then Ragnarok but when will we see Ragnarok token on hive engine or am I missing it or is it just nfts ? I need to get in early
Yeah so many games will be developed on hive now ... we may as well make unity3d and steam and ign hive witnesses ... twitch as hive witness works ... twitch didn't seem to like eosio but may love hive
