I'll go straight to the topic!
So this was a project i have done for a art test. Ofc i failed and didnt get the job :) But i had fun and loved the process, i really learned a lot from it.
So let me show you the character and try to explain :)
Thats the final product.
The idea was; (its a cheap makeup mobile game) There is a girl who havent make-up and dressed sits in the home doing nothing type of someone.
And in the second painting the girl all dressed up casually and did her makeup but not hair. 3rd one dressed up for her office job and did her makeup and hair.
That was all i had to do for the job test.
Now lets see some process.
As always i started with a skecth and then cleaned it up. When i draw the first one i copied and drawed the clothes above the layer for the 2nd and 3rd one.
In this part i always start the shade after a basic color. And i painted and merged the face already so i dont have that process either.
I dont have the process for the 2nd and 3rd one because after i finished the first character i just copied it and started to paint other clothes on. So i just merged the layers.
Slowly i get to work on small details and tryed to correct some colors and shadows.
Did some more color corrections, added more details and a good light!
A strong light source is one of the most importing thing in a painting! Because it saves you to do more refined details and makes your character pop up really easy and that what we want.
At last.. it is done!
After some detailing its seemed okey to call it done. From here i just copied the first one and painted the other clothes.
