Hello friends! I'm glad to be back with you sharing a little more about my drawing work, I'm back to continue sharing my series "Various animals and how to illustrate them".
Today's representative is the Wombat, it belongs to the family of marsupial diprotodonts, they are only found in Australia including the island of Tasmania. They have the appearance of a small bear with short legs. Currently there are three species of Wombat alive, all of which grow to about one meter and can weigh between 22 to 55 kg. Their hair color ranges from light brown to gray to black.
They are boils, feeding on grass, sedges and roots. They commonly inhabit extensive burrows that they dig with their teeth and front legs.
They have a rather slow metabolism, so much so that they take 14 days to complete digestion and do not usually move quickly, yet they are fast and agile. Their main defense against predators that follow them underground is to crush them against the tunnel wall until they suffocate.
well friends this was my delivery today, thanks for stopping by, I will soon be sharing more of my work with you.
