Ha pasado un tiempo desde que no realizaba esculturas de origami, pero hace unos días, me tope con un video que explicaba como realizar una estrella ninja transformable, me pareció una idea genial y quise compartirla en la comunidad, es una actividad perfecta para hacer con los niños durante esta cuarentena.

It's been a while since I made origami sculptures, but a few days ago, I came across a video that explained how to make a transformable ninja star, I thought it was a great idea and I wanted to share it with the community, it's a perfect activity to do with children during this quarantine.

Necesitarán sólo papel, y ganas de entretenerse doblando sin más que decir; iniciemos con el tutorial.

You will need only paper, and a willingness to entertain yourself by folding without saying anything else; let's start with the tutorial.

El origami o papiroflexia, es el arte que consiste en la creación de figuras, doblando y plegando adecuadamente papel, no se utilizan tijeras ni pegamento, la clave radica en doblar en el lugar correcto el papel.

Origami
is the art of creating figures by properly folding paper. No scissors or glue are used, the key is to fold the paper in the right place.

PASO 1:

STEP 1:

Necesitan 8 papeles de 10cm x 10cm.

Primero deben tomar una de las hojas, tomar uno de los extremos y llevarlo hacia el centro, doblando a la mitad la hoja.
Desdoblen y realicen el mismo procedimiento con el otro lado de la hoja.

They need 8 papers of 10cm x 10cm.

First they must take one of the leaves, take one of the ends and bring it to the center, folding the leaf in half.

Unfold and do the same procedure with the other side of the sheet.

Deben asegurase de que las líneas estén bien marcadas, doblen las hoja a la mitad y luego desdoblen.
Lleven la punta derecha hacia el centro, luego lleven la punta izquierda al centro, formando una punta triangular.

Make sure the lines are well marked, fold the sheet in half and then unfold.

Bring the right point to the center, then bring the left point to the center, forming a triangular point.

Doblen la figura a la mitad, ahora deben llevar hacia adentro la parte trasera, tomando como guía las líneas trazadas, se formará un rombo. REPITAN EL PROCESO EN TODAS LAS HOJAS.

Fold the figure in half, now you must bring in the back, taking as a guide the lines drawn, a rhombus will be formed. REPEAT THE PROCESS ON ALL THE SHEETS OF PAPER.

Cuando tengan todos las piezas formadas es tiempo de realizar la estrella transformable, deben tomar una de las piezas y en la parte trasera meter otra de las piezas y con las puntas que sobren entrelazar, repitan el proceso en cada una de las piezas.
Por último para lograr el efecto de estrella transformable, deben ir sacando las puntas con calma.

When you have all the pieces formed it is time to make the transformable star, you must take one of the pieces and in the back put another of the pieces and with the remaining points interlaced, repeat the process in each of the pieces.

Finally, to achieve the effect of a transformable star, you must take it easy to remove the tips.
