I'm moving at the end of this month. So of course, I'm having to dig through everywhere and get things organized. There was a suitcase that's been collecting dust in my closet for 9 years. I opened it up to find a bunch of old CD's and some old sketchbooks. Probably between 13 and 15 years old. It was fun looking back through them and I thought I'd share.
Since I'm packing I didn't have time to make these pictures look super nice. I just shot them with my phone so excuse the picture quality.

^ This is from Obama, not Trump lol.

One of my favorite things to do in my classes was to draw unsuspecting classmates.

Man, these make me so nostalgic. Brings me back to a time in life where my one and only focus was on drawing. I feel really fortunate that I had the opportunity to dedicate several years of my life exclusively to developing this craft that's been the largest defining component of who I am. I really don't think I'd have ever been happy if I hadn't gotten to do this with my life. Anyway, gladly I won't have to find out :D
Hope you all enjoyed and are enjoying your Saturday. See you in the next post.
I was going to say, you seem to have a lot of sketchies of unsuspecting classmates/random people on public transport XD
Got a spot in a cupboard in the new house for them? ;D
Haha, not really. I've got so many old sketchbooks laying around, I'd need waaaaay too many cupboards :p
These sketches are all fantastic, keep the good art work going.
Thanks @talentarts01!
You're welcome, hoping to emulate you in the future. You are sure amazing artist.
These sketches were superb! They reminded me of some of my old sketches as the progression of time moved my technique and interests forward. This is one post where i was not wanting to stop scrolling. Great work and thanks sharing. It took me back to that similar time in my life you mention there at the end. Show some more when/if you get the chance! How do i upvote something twice? hahahha

Thanks @castleberry! Glad you liked them :)
Always interesting what you can find in old boxes or suitcases - things that were long forgotten or the "I know I still have that somewhere"-things :)
Too professional. Very, very professional.
Thanks @richjr :)
Nice gou could see the evolution in your skethes
I see commitment. It has been one of the great key to success. Those are bunch of cool works and it is fun checking them.
Thanks for sharing.
Glad you liked them @tykee! Yes commitment is a key ingredient when it comes to drawing.

It's a long journey, but a fun one. Just start and don't be too hard on yourself :)
It needs constant practice. One day :)
