Hello everyone,
I hope you're all dong well. This is my latest digital painting study of a fictional character called Geralt of Rivia, from the Netflx series 'The Witcher' played by actor Henry Cavill.
Personally I haven't watched the second series that was recently released, but I did enjoy watching the first one about a year ago.
Below are the various steps I took for this digital painting, which I started from scratch in Photoshop. I started off with a rough sketch of the head, and then began 'blocking-in' more details gradually with new layers.
I wanted to keep the painting quite loose, and not focus too much on details. So I painted with mostly a large, round brush.
As you can see, even with the hair, large areas are left unfinished and painted in large strokes.

As you can see, my painting is slightly different, more head on.
And below is the final version of the painting with some extra details.
