Usually the background copy is blurred a bit, did you deliberately leave it sharp seeing as you were talking about how strange and interesthing things could look? :D
And it's not even strange things that start looking familiar, have you also noticed that if you stare at something familiar long enough, including your own hands or feet, or a word, that they start looking weird after a while? XD
