The School Boy is a miniature painting which is part of a series of miniature paintings that I recently concluded, it was really a fun and fulfilling experience....
The initial idea was just to paint a school boy coming back from school during the day but the idea of the balloon came later on while I was preparing and decided on what materials to paint with and I am so glad that I was bold enough to embrace the balloon idea when it came but now, the balloon is even the more reason why I connect to the piece so well.
Of all the colours in the painting, which do you like more?
Personally, I love the blue that makes up the balloon, it's just so pleasing and appealing to me. I might create a similar painting soon but in a bigger size cause I just can't get enough of the beauty on this small Canvas.
