Okay… I know I've committed the ultimate sin of not posting here on the blockchain for two weeks or so, but how was I to do it while playing Rambo running around in the woods with only bare necessities!?!?!?

Just like my romp into the woods - It was merely a few days, not two weeks as it might appear in my opening.
Hey, but after I ventured out from the wooded Wilds, I remained in a state of bliss for many days afterward...completely unable to readjust to the cyber-realm which surrounds us in this uncivilization of ours.
Hell...I don't know...???
But, I was floating on something... At least for a short while.
Going into the woods is something I do less often than I probably should; it makes me feel so much more alive in a healthy, peaceful sort of way. Unless of course I'm attacked by a hungry bear or mountain lion!!!
I've never been attacked by either of these, but have had a bull moose run at me from out of the brush in Alaska many years ago. All I was doing was walking down the road, minding my own business, gazing at the magnificent mountains nearby when the thing jumped out at me...
Fortunately, the moose was probably just having a good joke on me because he didn't bother chasing me very far when I ran... As a matter of fact, I think I heard him chuckling a bit while he strolled back into the thick...??? Not a hundred percent sure though...
Those things are
HUGE...!!!
You could wind up with brown stains in your undies, whether you've got a 45 strapped to your hip or not. It's pretty tricky to un-holster the gun while running and shooting back over your shoulder.
Anyway...
There's no bull moose where I'm at now, but some pretty BIG Buck are lurking about with black bear and cougars.
You don't want any of those things running at you either, unless you're a masochist!!!
Being old and mostly retired now, I can usually take off into the woods whenever the urge strikes, without much planning. I've got some gear at the ready and only need to grab it and start walking... The woods begin not far from my house.
This time, I didn't even bring a Smart Phone; just a an old Flip Phone for emergency calls should I fall off a cliff and die or something like that...
So, my friends...as you can see, I couldn't do the @Hive or @PeakD thing without a proper Cyber device on me while Rambo-ing for a few days.
Why it took me so long to get back on here after I came back home??? I don't know...?!?!?!?
Maybe I forgot how to use the computer or something? Maybe I just needed to take a cyber break like some other folk do once in awhile?

Sounds like it was a well needed break away from it all. I really don't think you missed much, in fact I am pretty sure you did not miss anything earthshakingly new from Hive. Still some drama, still some bitching, still some pictures, still some idiots, so nope nothing new.

I was stopped on Hollywood blvd once, by a tax collector (some people call them policeman).
When I explained that the powder in my pocket was for 'clearing nasal congestion purposes', he laughed, and let me on my way.
It was in the 'happy delivery of the message' that persuaded him to let me go, tax exempt, I think.
(Either that or because I was 'a tourist' and the paperwork would have been too much. I'm going for personality winning him over , personally)

It seems that a LOT of my old steemit friends have stopped being active and so far, Hive has not brought them back out of seclusion. Though, there are a couple who returned and don't seem very happy.
