One of the reasons you know Merida best, is for its mountains, moors, valleys and peaks. In this state you can find one of the highest peaks in the world, Pico Bolivar, also the highest cable car in the world.
Undoubtedly it has some attractions that mainly connect you with nature. However, there is a reputation for which this region is also well known and that is for the mysticism, magic and legends that are harbored in its mountains.
