Hii Folks, do you know I had a friend called Sarah and I didn't know who she really was? Please read my story.
After five years I now realized that I never knew Sarah my friend, I know understand the saying that Money and firm reveals the inner person.
I thought Sarah was a very good friend of mine, we met in a meeting and became friends, she was struggling to make daily living, she has no comfortable home, I had a room and parlour apartment with toilet and bathroom that was very spacious so Sarah will always come around to stay with me in my space, whenever she comes around we share everything I have together because I took her like my blood sister, I never hide anything away from her because I loved her so much, little did I know that she was just using me to survive, she doesn't love me at all, infact when she revealed herself to me and I went to complain to a friend, the friend now told me how she would always come to her shop to gossip about me, she even told her that immediately she gets money that I will be surprised how she would change.
I went to the extent of giving her my debit card so that she could buy whatever she wants when am not around and she will always profess how she appreciates me and loves me, I didn't know that all were just mere words of mouth.
Reality happened
She started dating a very rich man from a foreign land and she never mentioned it to me, they got to they point of getting married I never knew what was going on, tho I started noticing that she doesn't come to my house consistently as she does, she started giving me excuses why she didn't come.
One evening I decided to go check on her, I got to her door, she was on a call and she didn't let me in for over an hour because she didn't want me to listen to her conversation, and she was the person that I told everything about my relationship with opposite sex, so that got me thinking why she is doing all that, finally she opened her door and I saw lots of food stuffs, I was happy but surprised because I knew her pay can't afford such items, I didn't ask since she felt not to discuss her relationship with me.
Just few weeks after my visit to her, she sent me a wedding invitation where Whatsapp and a thank you message for kindness towards her.
I became speechless, I didn't know what to reply her, I just type "Congratulations" and sent to her, I sat down for hours thinking how I ever wronged her but I couldn't get a clue.
She got a new and bigger apartment, she started acting her real self, so rude and insulting and it became done on me that I never knew her but I thought I did.
I won't say she changed because those personalities have been in her all this while but because of her condition she has to pretend to be a nice person just to cope for those years she was with me.
Gradually I stopped visiting her, I stopped calling and chatting her and she too stopped and that was the end of our friendship.
It's a very sad story that thought me a great lesson, I stopped giving 100% of myself to any relationship with my fellow lady, I learned to apply wisdom when making friends.
