When Silence Becomes the Loudest Answer

in The Real Talkyesterday

The question is have You ever get to that point where you’re just... tired of talking?
I mean like, you’ve explained yourself over and over again, and somehow the other person still acts like they don’t get it what you trying to pass through or maybe they just don’t want to get it. Yeah, that kind of thing are tiring.

I’ve learned that sometimes silence says everything words can’t. It’s weird, because we’re taught to “communicate,” to “speak up,” to “say how we feel.” But what they don’t tell you is, some people only listen to reply not to understand. And when you finally realize that, your mouth just shuts down automatically.

There was this friend I have that time, and honestly, we never agreed and argue about everything. I’d always be the one trying to fix things for us to be one, explaining, apologizing even when I didn’t do anything wrong. One day, I just didn’t bother anymore. I didn’t send that long message. I didn’t try to make peace. I just went silent. And funny enough, that silence fixed what my words never could it showed exactly how done I was.

Silence can be peaceful, but also kind of painful. Sometimes I think it feels like freedom, and other times feels like loneliness. You can be quiet to protect your peace, but sometimes that same quiet builds a wall between you and everyone else.

But you know what I realized? Silence isn’t weakness. It’s not pride either. It’s knowing that not every battle is worth your energy. Some situations don’t need an explanation they need distance.

Growing up teaches you that not everything needs to be said. Some goodbyes don’t need to be spoken. Some “I’m tired” moments don’t need to be shouted. You just go quiet... and that quiet says, “I’m done trying.”

So yeah, sometimes silence really mean the loudest answer. Louder than shouting, louder than tears, louder than trying to make someone understand who’s already decided not to.

Have you ever reached that point too? Where silence was your only way of saying everything?

Let's hear your own side of the story in the comments.

I couldn't agree more. Sometimes it is best to let silence speak, because words can hurt or be unuseful.

Sometimes, silence does the job better because there won't be room for arguments or disagreement.

Hmmm, you right, sometimes silence is the best answer oo. It says a thousand words

Seriously its the fact
