Decoding The Rush: Running Ahead Or Being Pulled Along

No matter how fast the world can get, some things never go along with it and if we look deeply, they are the natural things God has put in place right from beginning of time. I saw the prompt and remembered the recent celebration I've been part of, all about a new born baby. I wondered, can the birth of a baby can be rushed?

We can be fast or the world can seem so fast but does this mean we have time in control? Not at all, only those who utilize their time as one of the greatest and easily lost asset, can say they have control of their own time making sure they let it play to their own favour. Trying to rush things or letting things rush you shouldn't be for you at all.

With new inventions and development, life is becoming so fast before our eyes and the first thing many of us think is how to run at life's pace with only few or none thinking about how to slow down the pace on their end so they can get enough out of their fleeting lives. As sad as it can be to realize, we have only a few years on earth.

I think that's one of the reasons so many things are encouraging fast-living but for the few who have chosen to use their short time on earth to go at their own pace, they get the most out of real living. I can imagine how fast, boring, uncalculating, automated and full of distractions a life that is on a fast lane can be, it's not funny.

The world is already fast-paced, and it will grow faster but are we to follow on that lane? No, we can choose not to be pulled along. It may look enticing to want to run ahead with life's pace but if we look deeper, become intentional and understand life's diversity, we would agree that we all have our own pace to thread and carefully.

There are like a thousand things to distract us into trying to run ahead in pursue of this fast-paced world, but there are also a thousand reason to choose to go at your own pace. I think it totally depends on your choice, who you believe in before yourself and the things you plan to achieve during your fleeting years here on earth.

How exactly do we stop racing in a fast-paced world and start living as it should be? Well, I think starting with being intentional about how you spend your time of every day will help a lot. If you see yourself doing too much and ending up not being productive, you're most probably just joining the trend (being fast) and you're not living.

In the last few days, I've been getting all the signs that I'm joining the trend. I guess it's my cue to slow down, get immersed in actual living and trying to achieve what I can in my own time and pace. I've got no control over how life plays out generally but I can take charge over my time with every single day that passes. You can do same.

Yes I, no matter how rushed or fast paced we may seem, it is good to cool off sometime or take a break when necessary
