I’m the type of person who really dislikes having a packed schedule, but December is already starting to fill up.
The biggest event by far is visiting my husband’s family home! My husband is from Kyushu, but we haven’t been back in about seven years. It’s been our tradition to always spend long holidays at my parents’ place, but since we decided not to go there this year-end, a trip to Kyushu was settled on instead.
On top of that, there are a bunch of smaller tasks I need to get done.
・Disposing of old electronics: I have a mountain of unused laptops and smartphones that I really want to get rid of.
・Health check-up: I realized I’ve skipped my annual check-up for a full three years… I definitely have to do it this year.
・Buying a bed for our eldest son:He’s recently started wanting to sleep alone in his own room, but since his study space and bed are in the same place, his room has become even more chaotic.
・Tidying up the balcony: For years I’ve found the built-in laundry pole too low and inconvenient. If I can find something good at Nitori or somewhere, I’d love to replace it and turn the balcony into a place where hanging laundry actually feels pleasant!
I want to finish all of this before the year ends so I can welcome 2026 with a fresh mind and heart💪✨

予定がいっぱいになるのが苦手な私ですが、12月はすでにスケジュールが埋まり始めています。
中でも比較的大きな行事が、夫の実家への帰省！夫は九州出身ですが、もう7年ほど帰っていません。長期休みはいつも私の実家で過ごすのが恒例でしたが、今年の年末は帰らないことを決めたのもあって、九州行きが決まりました。
そのほかにも細々と、やらなければならないことがあります。
・電子機器類の処分：使わなくなったノートPCやスマホが山になっているので処分したい
・健康診断：気づけば丸3年、健康診断をスキップしていました・・・流石に今年は受けなければ
・長男のベッドを買う：長男が自室で一人で寝たがるようになったのですが、勉強場所と寝床が一緒になったことで部屋が（さらに）ぐちゃぐちゃになっているので。
・ベランダの整理：長年、備え付けの物干しの丈が低いことに不便を感じていました。ニトリなどで良いものがあれば買って、洗濯物干しが楽しくなるようなベランダに改修したい！
今年中に終わらせて、気持ち新たに2026年を迎えたいです💪✨
