We are waiting for a head to come to us in the mail. Before I raise any suspicion, I'd like to say it's a maniquen head so that B can take better pictures of her hats.
It arrived to our house but the delivery person didn't call us so they took it back to the shipment center. Then we called again and they delivered it while we were both at work, missing us by 10 minutes. Let's see if we can get it by tomorrow!
Actually she was supposed to have posted some pictures of her hats by now and made her own posts, but she only wants to post her best work. I tried telling her that Hive doesn't work like most social media and that the algorithms don't do as much, it's more about organic interactions.
She's starting to understand, but for now she is too focused on making hats and change wallets and preparing for our March Flea Market, and a potential other indoors flea market next week.
We are trying to do at least one flea market a month, although once it becomes her full time job, we will try to join an average of one event a week, either a flea market or a festival or a pop-up shop.
So Hive, while something that's been central to my life for the past 10 years, is still not something she has made a habit of yet. Hopefully when that new head arrives, she will start writing here too.
She just wants to make hats all day every day. When trying to figure out the logistics of how we could turn this into a business, I asked her how many hours she felt comfortable making hats a day. She said 8-10. lol
I have a hard time believing that, but if that's the case, I'm glad she's that enthusiastic about her craft!!!!!
Just in case, I'm trying to make this sustainable even if she only spend 3-4 hours a day making hats. I have other plans to help her supplement her income and ideas of some things we could sell that wouldn't require as much work from her.
I'm laying the foundations now, as she continues to make a whole heck load of hats!
Meanwhile, as I try to help her raise money and awareness for her craft, I'm continuing to develop my craft, getting more and more excited about creating music and videos and exploring different possibilities in those areas. I've been learning how to use MIDI and thinking about buying a MIDI keyboard. I got Ableton working again so I can record music, and I'm trying to produce 2-3 short music videos a week to experiment with new song ideas and make better videos in the future.

彼女も少しずつ理解してきていますが、今は帽子や小銭入れを作ること、3月のフリーマーケットの準備、そして来週開催されるかもしれない屋内のフリーマーケットの準備に集中しています。
私たちは、最低でも月に1回フリーマーケットに出店することを目標にしています。でも、いずれ彼女がこれを本業にしたら、週に1回はイベントに出るようにしたいです。フリーマーケットやフェス、ポップアップショップなどですね。

彼女は本当に一日中帽子を作っていたいみたいです。これをビジネスにする方法を考える中で、「1日に何時間くらい帽子作りを続けられる？」と聞いたら、「8〜10時間くらい」と答えました。笑
正直、それはちょっと信じられないけれど、もし本当にそうなら、彼女が自分の仕事に対してそれだけ熱意を持っているのは素晴らしいことです！
ただ、万が一彼女が1日3〜4時間しか作業できない場合でも持続可能な形にするために、私はいろいろと準備を進めています。彼女の収入を補うためのプランや、彼女の手間を減らせる商品アイデアも考えています。
私は今、その土台作りを進めつつ、彼女がとにかく大量の帽子を作り続けられるようにしています。
その一方で、私は彼女のクラフトを広めるための資金集めや宣伝を手伝いながら、自分自身のクリエイティブな活動にも力を入れています。最近は音楽制作や映像制作にどんどん興味が湧いてきて、さまざまな可能性を探っています。MIDIの使い方を学びながら、MIDIキーボードの購入も検討中です。
Abletonも再び使えるようになったので、音楽を録音できるようになりました。今は、週に2〜3本の短いミュージックビデオを作りながら、新しい楽曲のアイデアを試し、より良い映像を作るために実験を重ねています。

1日8～10時間くらい作りたい！とは、それは素晴らしいです。私なんか２時間くらいですぐバテます。これだから病人は……というのは置いといて、確かに帽子作りを本業にするなら、週1回イベントに出店した方がいいでしょうね。京都の手作り市に遊びに行った時に知り合った、手づくりの鞄を売っていた人は、全国各地の手作り市をほぼ週１回のペースで出店して回っていたようです。さすがにもう引退して、今はどうしているかわかりませんが。

Good luck with it all. Will be interesting how you get on with onboarding users from Japan to Hive. I am having a fluffing hard time getting UK users to join.
Thanks! I have a few ideas I will share soon! I will try to make it more subtle, where people don't see or hear Hive constantly, but slowly are exposed to it. Formulating my plan now. :-D
