I'm not so much of a manga reader, I've read very few, I'm more of a manhwa reader, I'm attracted by the fact that they are very colorful. Reading you, when you say that you thought it was just going to be boring echi, I still remember manhwa that I have time reading, this one... has hentai content, but... has very good character development, both the protagonist and all the members of the story, even I dare to say that if it did not have the hentai part, it would be a 10/10. Possibly, at some point I will make a review, which I have pending for a long time. it's called Circle

Hentai is more of depiction of sex with or without censor bars. Using sex and featuring the working parts visually as the selling point. Ecchi is a downgrade, you can still see parts of the working part but intimate acts are implied, but not shown totally, or treat it as softcore version to suggest something while hentai showcases it raw. It's a thin line.
