El primer capítulo cumple con su propósito, te da de todo un poco: Te plantea las relaciones principales de la protagonista (familia y amistades), sus motivaciones (aparentemente enfocadas a un propósito claro), su carácter (propio de una adolescente encantadora e imperfecta), también se nos presentan 2 conflictos que son también resueltos en el mismo capítulo, incluyendo un flashback con un tema que lleva el sello de la autora (situaciones realistas, como decisiones de parejas adultas y sus consecuencias y efectos en los niños de la familia).
The first chapter fulfills its purpose, it gives you a little bit of everything: It presents the main relationships of the protagonist (family and friends), her motivations (apparently focused on a clear purpose), her character (typical of a charming and imperfect teenager), we are also presented with 2 conflicts that are also resolved in the same chapter, including a flashback with a theme that bears the stamp of the author (realistic situations, as decisions of adult couples and their consequences and effects on the children of the family).

In conclusion, I feel very fortunate to live in a time where as a young adult I can look back and search/connect with everything I once wanted, simply because the means now exist and I have the will and freedom to do so (let the nostalgia wash over me, I'll let myself).
