[ENG / ESP] Top 10 Animanga husbands (Crimson Tops #02) / Top 10 husbandos del Animanga (Crimson Tops #02)

Hello everyone, Crimson Fox greets you again and I give you my warmest welcome to a new post, this time to bring you another anime top after a while without publishing, and since we already talked about waifus, why don't we talk about husbands too? Clarifying of course that I will base this post on my tastes and not necessarily on their value as a character.

Not before remembering that this is a personal top, everyone has their tastes and reasons to put a character in their list, and that has to be respected, so I invite you to make your top in the comments to interact between members of this community. So without further ado, let's get started.

10 - Roy Mustang (Fullmetal Alchemist).

Roy Mustang, the fire alchemist, someone who looks out for the welfare of his friends and his nation, with explosive power and eyes that want to see a prosperous future, seeking to reach the top through his merits, worth, and an ideology that reflects how unity is strength.

I like this character so much for the role he plays in the story, his will, personality, his humanity, the way he relates to the other characters (yes, I'm shipping him with Riza xD), along with how they directly or indirectly influence his actions, and why not to say it? His appeal and style, because he's got quite a lot of it.

9 - Soul Eater Evans (Soul eater).

And speaking of style, it was the turn of the sharp-toothed death scythe, a young man who tries to act "cool" and serene but struggles to keep under control the madness that lies within him.

He is a character that has shown constant development, showing a certain maturity as the work progresses (the manga most of all), his companionship and friendship with Maka are one of his greatest strengths, becoming one of the best relationships I've seen in a manga, plus the inferiority he felt because of living under the shadow of his older brother is something interesting for the character's background.

────────────❮ESP❯────────────

8 - Ban (Nanatsu no taizai).

image.png
Source

Nanatsu no taizai has its ups and downs... Very, very low, but one of the best things about this work is everything that involves the sin of the fox, Ban is my favorite character of nanatsu because of his background, development, and personality; from his time as a child in the streets, his falling in love with Elaine, the guilt he felt for the disasters that happened, his friendship with Meliodas, the purgatory arc, everything seems very good to me, so much so that I have come to have admiration for him and become fond of him, having a "happy ending" as he deserves.

────────────❮ESP❯────────────

7 - Kaworu Nagisa (Evangelion).

image.png

It's beautiful, next.

Ok, no xD. Kaworu is a character that managed to win my affection since his first appearance, even though nothing new was done with him until the last rebuild movie with his monologue. I always found it very adorable the way he cared about Shinji and just tried to make him feel better, not to mention that from my point of view, from the moment he comes out Neon genesis starts to get confusing, taking twice the length of his chapter to understand him, and of course, coming out hurt by the way Shinji was forced to kill him.

In Rebuild, as I mentioned before nothing new was done with him but the feeling was similar, and I couldn't be more than satisfied with the character's conclusion.

────────────❮ESP❯────────────

Niño hermoso, siguiente puesto.

Ok no xD.

6 - Hawks (Boku no hero academia).

image.png

Now next, "the fried chicken", what, you don't like the nickname? It sounds better than "The precocious one" but ok (xD).

The number 2 hero in the ranking, a being of light with the appearance of an apathetic vagabond, always in search of a world where heroes can have days off, and someone who is willing to do everything in the name of helping society (of course, with his aces up his sleeve). Hawks is a character I loved for his design, personality, the enigma that surrounded him, his past, and his accurate decision-making, however cruel they may have become (;-;).

────────────❮ESP❯────────────

5 - Satoru Gojou (Jujutsu kaisen).

image.png
Source

Already in the top 5, we have a character who climbed many steps suddenly some time ago, which did nothing but win the affection of the fans with every appearance he made, including me, after reading the manga that fanaticism only increased.

Satoru Gojou and Jujutsu Kaisen deal perfectly with what it is to have such an extremely broken character in a work, he's not just the undefeated hero who gets to save the day, he was born with great power, he's cocky because of that, but he's had his faults, and it was his turn to learn from them, ending up being a pillar of the wizardry world, and his absence was necessary for the curses to wreak havoc, and they did, they simply did a great job.

Other things to add? His attractiveness, his charisma, and the way he goes crazy when he's having fun in combat.

────────────❮ESP❯────────────

4 - Shinmon Benimaru (Fire Force).

image.png
Source

The protector of Asakusa, the god of destruction, Shinmon Benimaru - sorry, Benimaru Shinmon is another character whose outstanding features are not centered on his power despite being a unique case and therefore is considered the "strongest" of the 8 captains.

The strengths of this character are centered on the symbol he represents, he is the leader of a people attached to the old customs, a culture they are proud of, someone who has mastered their teachings, and who despite his methods and attitude ended up being the protector of Asakusa abruptly.

Did he have to change for that? No, his people saw hope in Benimaru's methods; he saw to it that a funeral routine became a destructive festival in which the infernal is sent to the afterlife, this being the wish of the people of Asakusa, not only to rest in peace, but that it is their chief who gives them that rest, because they trust in him, and he in them, they are a family, and Beni is the leader of that family, enlivening the hope that lies in each of them.

────────────❮ESP❯────────────

3 - Lelouch Lamperouge (Code geass).

image.png
Source

Introducing the Top 3 is Lelouch Vi Britannia, the one who dominated an empire and saved the world starting from the deepest thanks to his strategic mind and the connections he made along the way, someone who can be considered a villain at the beginning but in the end, ended up being a hero (not like another birdie out there).

Lelouch can be compared to Light Yagami for using his brain and a supernatural means to accomplish great feats, but Lelouch is more than that, from his motivations, his development, to his determination, as Lelouch is a human character, he did everything he did not only for revenge to begin with, as he wanted his sister to be able to live in a peaceful world, and when he thought he had lost her, he was capable of throwing it all away, he mourned the deaths of his family and friends, and was aware of the weight of the blood he carried with him, being willing to be a martyr if necessary, after all "only he who is willing to die should have the power to kill".

ALL HAIL ZERO, ALL HAIL LELOUCH.

────────────❮ESP❯────────────

ALL HAIL ZERO, ALL HAIL LELOUCH.

2 - Simon the digger (Tengen Toppa Gurren Laggan).

image.png
Source

What haven't I said about Simon that I haven't already said? One of the best developments I've seen in an anime character, is the importance of believing in yourself, knowing that life goes on no matter all the evils and obstacles that fall upon you, and that if you want to achieve what you set out to do you must first go through them.

Simon is another example of how high a character can go starting from the bottom, going from being a simple digger to the savior of humanity.

────────────❮ESP❯────────────

1- Sung Jinwoo (Solo Leveling).

image.png
Source

Let's see... Solo Leveling, a manhwa that I loved since its first chapters, so much that at the closing of its first season I ended up reading its novel from the beginning, an adventure starring probably one of the characters that made me doubt my heterosexuality the most, the monarch of the shadows, Sung Jinwoo.

One of the stories most often found in manhwas and manga is the weak character in his progression path in which we will constantly see how he is breaking more and more, this is no exception the work has a lot of wasted potential, but I still enjoyed it a lot, both for its world, its characters, how the mysteries are unraveling, and of course, the protagonist and his manhwa.

Jinwoo is a character that I like because of his development, his concern for his family, the relationships that are formed around him, his tricks (which are better appreciated in the novel), and his style, which the manhwa does nothing but exploit to the fullest. Solo Leveling's manhwa is crazy, he usually makes good decisions in terms of direction, although sometimes he has his faults, at an artistic level he is the best, the fights, the designs, and the incredible style of the characters, I lost count of how many battles of Jinwoo I was dumbfounded by the epicness of his pages.
So yes, Jinwoo is here mostly for aesthetic reasons, but it still holds my top spot with pride.

────────────❮ESP❯────────────

A ver…

────────────❮END❯────────────

And well friends, that's all from my side, again I invite you to leave your opinions and your top in the comments if you wish, I had several personal problems and that's the reason for my absence, but finally I could upload this list, so it would be fun to talk about it in the comments; I also remind you that you can follow me if you don't want to miss similar content.

I only recognized the latter half. I don't disagree with these being top mainstream faves, they are what they are for a reason but it gets to the point where some characters are just designed to be fan favorites that undermines their purpose. It's conflict between you love them because they were designed to be loved or you learned to love them for the value they provided within the story naturally.

The sage archetypes are the side protagonists in the story that usually fulfills these roles because they are inherently supposed to look good with a mysterious backstory.

Yes, you are right, seen this way it is true that there are many characters quite similar, either by coincidence or made this way intentionally because they are inspired by the bases of others, this is why there are so many copies of Kirito and his anime/mangas have a considerable success (although in this already fall formulas that follow these anime more than everything).

In my case I am not very demanding when it comes to defining if I like a character or not, since what I like most is usually their style and personality of them, on the other hand, if we talk about quality I admit that characters like Ban can be many but this one stands out for the way it is built, likewise there are characters like Roy Mustang who is one of the best secondary characters of the anime (in my opinion) for how he fulfilled his role throughout the series, even going a little out of the mold, deserving a good credit for it; despite all this Ban is higher in my top than Mustang, which is due to my tastes, which is the fun thing about tops, since it's not necessarily a qualitative selection, but something as simple as "Which one do you like the most and why? ".
PD: Thanks for your comment, it's very well structured and I enjoyed reading it.
