Hola comunidad, espero que estén muy bien, como algunos que siguen mi arte notaran que he manejado muchísimo colores morados últimamente y es que me encanta ese color, realmente me hace feliz incorporarlo en mis obras, por eso verán mas reciente el uso de este color en mi blog, en esta oportunidad quería hacer una especie de retrato que simula estar en “mar” pero sin ser literal el mar, con esto me refiero a que no hice muchas texturas de agua, quise hacer algo simple para hacer resaltar el retrato, utilice diferentes tonos de morado y algunos azules, espero que les guste.

Proceso/Process

Realicé mi boceto con la idea del agua en mente, pero no había incorporado las medusas, hice la forma del cabello hacia arriba simulando el movimiento del cabello bajo el mar y comencé a pintar, elegí una paleta de colores morados, rosas y azul, comencé a aplicar los colores en el rostro y en nuevas capas comencé a mezclarlos y difuminar para crear la piel, para el cabello utilice un morado bastante llamativo.

I made my sketch with the idea of water in mind, but I had not incorporated the jellyfish, I made the shape of the hair up simulating the movement of the hair under the sea and I began to paint, I chose a palette of purple, pink and blue colors, I began to apply the colors on the face and in new layers I began to mix them and blend to create the skin, for the hair I used a very striking purple.

Agregue mas luces y sombras al cabello para darle mas realismo, para este punto comencé a pensar en el fondo y se me ocurrió hacerlo muy oscuro, luego coloque las medusas y aplique un brillo sobre ellas que rebota en algunas partes del rostro, también dibuje unas especies de ondas alrededor de la chica. Finalmente aplique un ajuste de color para darle mayor intensidad a toda la imagen.

Add more lights and shadows to the hair to give it more realism, at this point I started to think about the background and it occurred to me to make it very dark, then place the jellyfish and apply a shine on them that bounces off some parts of the face, I also drew some kind of waves around the girl.

Finally apply a color adjustment to give more intensity to the whole image.
