Hoy quise probar algo diferente, desde hace mucho tiempo me he sentido tentada a hacer un dibujo donde los colores de la piel no estuviesen completamente difuminados, solo trabajando en una capa donde los colores den completamente la forma al rostro sin necesidad de definir demasiado, hoy quise ponerlo a prueba, pero tambien exploré con una herramienta de Photoshop que me pareció bastante genial. Normalmente no suelo tocar las herramientas que tiene Photoshop, soy muy básica y trabajo con lo que conozco, se que este efecto quizás tiene mas trucos para verse aun mejor pero a penas estoy aprendiendo y la verdad si me gusto jaja.
Good evening, friends. Today I wanted to try something different. For a long time, I've been tempted to do a drawing where the skin colors weren't completely blurred, just working on a layer where the colors completely shape the face without needing to define it too much. Today I wanted to put it to the test, but I also explored a Photoshop tool that I thought was pretty cool. I don't usually mess around with Photoshop tools. I'm very basic and work with what I know. I know this effect probably has more tricks to make it look even better, but I'm just learning, and honestly, I liked it, haha.
Proceso/Process
Realice mi boceto y comencé a agregar los colores con los que trabajaría, en esta oportunidad use tonos fríos y algunos cálidos pero no demasiado llamativos, en otra capa añadí mas colores con un pincel duro para darle forma por completo al rostro, después pinte las cejas y las pestañas.
I made my sketch and began adding the colors I would work with. This time, I used cool tones and some warm tones, but nothing too striking. On another layer, I added more colors with a hard brush to give the face its full shape, then I painted the eyebrows and eyelashes.
Estuve explorando varios efectos de Photoshop ya que no me convencía solamente dejarlo asi sin más, asi que conseguí este efecto de oleo y lo probe, me gusto bastante… La textura que aporta al rostro es increíble, asi que decidí conservarlo.
I was exploring various Photoshop effects because I wasn't convinced about leaving it as it was, so I found this oil painting effect and tried it out. I really liked it... The texture it adds to the face is incredible, so I decided to keep it.
Para terminar, como siempre, agregue luces en los ojos, labios y nariz, esto le da un poco mas de volumen y realismo al retrato.
Finally, as always, add highlights to the eyes, lips, and nose. This gives the portrait a little more volume and realism.
