Solitude — Hive

Evidentemente estos últimos meses me he dedicado a solo realizar retratos, han sido muy pocos los dibujos que pasan más allá de un torso, hoy sentían ganas de hacer un dibujo un poco mas completo y de esta manera tambien podría practicar un poco realizando ropa, ya que considero que la ropa siempre ha sido uno de mis puntos débiles. En esta ocasión me siento bastante orgullosa de la vestimenta ya que quedo bastante bien a mi parecer. En el fondo quise hacer un paisaje, pensé en un paisaje bonito que me gustaría ver en persona, intente mantener un aire de nostalgia y mirada profunda a pesar de que no detalle demasiado el rostro por ser un dibujo de lejos, espero que les guste.

Obviously, these past few months I've been dedicated to only doing portraits. Very few drawings have gone beyond a torso. Today I felt like doing a more complete drawing, and this way I could also practice a little by making clothes, since I consider that clothing has always been one of my weak points. This time I feel quite proud of the outfit since it turned out quite well, in my opinion. Basically, I wanted to do a landscape; I thought of a beautiful landscape that I would like to see in person. I tried to maintain an air of nostalgia and a deep gaze, even though I didn't detail the face too much because it was a long-distance drawing. I hope you like it.

Proceso/Process

Realice el boceto y elegí los colores para la piel, esta vez opte por tonos lila, morado y algunos rosas, en una nueva capa agregue mas colores para darle mejor forma a la piel. Luego mezcle los colores dejando un resultado mas suave, después aplique colores base a la ropa y cabello.

I sketched and chose the colors for the skin. This time, I opted for lilac, purple, and some pink tones. On a new layer, I added more colors to give the skin a more defined shape. Then, I blended the colors, creating a softer result. Then, I applied base colors to the clothing and hair.

Después agregué luces y sombras a la ropa empezando por la camisa, la cual quise hacer holgada y con muchos pliegues. Pinte mallas en los brazos y luego pinte el pantalón con colores muy negros y algunas franjas blancas. Agregué mas detalles al rostro dándole mejor profundidad a los ojos, color en las mejillas y tambien añadí luces y sombras al cabello dándole forma ondulada. Para el fondo quise pintar un paisaje frio, nublado que tuviera mar y montañas. Agregue algunos puntos de luz en el rostro en zonas donde quería resaltar y finalice realizando un ajuste de color leve, donde buscaba oscurecer un poco mejor la imagen.

Next, I added highlights and shadows to the clothing, starting with the shirt, which I wanted to make loose and pleated. I painted tights on the arms and then the pants with very black colors and some white stripes. I added more details to the face, giving more depth to the eyes and color to the cheeks, and I also added highlights and shadows to the wavy hair. For the background, I wanted to paint a cold, cloudy landscape with sea and mountains. I added some highlights to the face in areas where I wanted to highlight the image and finished by making a slight color adjustment, where I wanted to darken the image a little more.
