Angus Guards A Golden Apple - my first auction on OpenSea!

Say Hello to Angus! :)

And do you remember Herbert? (read here if you like)
I can't help but ask myself if they're from the same family ^^

It was actually an unintended series and I don't have a name for it yet. But they were so much fun to paint and design, so maybe I'm gonna add a few more to the family :)

I minted Angus on OpenSea, that's where Herbert lives as well.
And I decided to try something new, so he's actually on auction now!
Until Sunday, 10 PM CEST, people can make an offer and in 4 days I'm gonna accept the highest one (let's hope there are any offers by that time ^^)

I thought a lot about doing this, because it isn't free like doing a normal fixed price listing on OpenSea. I will have to pay the gas fees for minting when I accept an offer.

But I felt it was time to try something new, and take a risk. And I have some Eth left in my wallet from selling Herbert :)

If you want to take a look (and also see Angus in a higher resolution), you can do it here :)

I'm very excited about this!
I only had an auction once with a collaboration piece I did with another artist, but doing it alone is very different!

I'm using all my Twitter promotion skills I've acquired during the last three months for getting Angus on people's timelines ^^
But we'll see how it goes!

I love the richness in tones of color that you get! Very vibrant and with a touch of texture to them! Great job. =)

And I love your comments because you always describe so well what you think about the artwork <3
Thank you so much! The shading, which makes the texture, is actually the part that takes the most time, I'm quite a perfectionist there ^^

That is always what draws my eye to your artwork! Your values and the shading along with your color choices. I think it's digitally colored so it would be nice to see your process or know more about how you achieve your perfection in colorization! =)

Oh, I'm so sorry! I must have missed your comment in the notifications!

Thank you! Coloring is actually just a lot of experimenting ^^ And I'm slow, so it often takes a while until I'm sure about it. After I found the basic color for a part I start shading and highlighting, quite like I would on an analog painting, with a few layers. To make it look a bit more 3d :)
I really should remember to take screenshots once in a while. I would love to share more process pictures, I just always forget while I'm working ^^

@tipu curate :)

Oooh, Thanks a lot! <3

This one is so cool @anafae !! Loving how the gold really pops from the screen as if it's gold..

I'm so happy for you to see things are working out as an artist and people love your style, keep up the good work chica!

Oh, dear, I missed your comment again in the notifications! I'm so sorry <3

Thanks so much <3
These are quite exciting times to be an artist, I enjoy it a lot :)
Little Angus isn't sold yet, but I just submitted him for a fun new auction thing, so we'll see :)
