Hello all dear Hivers friends and welcome back to my blog. Today I am sharing a painting that goes beyond my classical canons of painting, no watercolors but gothic art.

I made a large self-portrait measuring 120 x 80 cm. where I highlighted my ugly face.

In the details I made the teeth with gold and white, and the monstrous eyes, as you see I look like him in the picture.

The long black hair, as I had it 30 years ago, full of dripping color.

Here I am with my alter ego.

A monstrous hug.

Ciao a tutti cari amici Hivers e bentornati sul mio blog. Oggi condivido un dipinto che va oltre i miei canoni classici della pittura, niente acquarelli ma arte gotica. Ho realizzato un grande autoritratto delle dimensioni di 120 x 80 cm. dove ho messo in evidenza la mia brutta faccia. Nei particolari ho realizzato i denti con oro e bianco, e gli occhi mostruosi, come vedete sono uguale a lui nella foto. I capelli lunghi neri, come li avevo 30 anni fa, pieni di colore che cola. Eccomi qua con il mio alter ego.

Un abbraccio mostruoso.

I wonder what prompted you to engage in that exercise. Kind of a Dorian Gray in reverse.

Certainly dramatic. An interesting exercise.
