Hello~~~~ How are you guys? I am on day 6 and I am happy I'm pretty close to completing the 1st week UwU I've been busy today and pretty much out and about because I wanted to spend time with my sister that just came home from abroad. This is very important to me so inktober be damned XD
Well I still had time to draw because the sister is knocked out now and we might have a co-working session together. So maybe I can draw some more later on again.
I had to rush pierce because I just woke up from a reaaalllyyy good nap and I'm happy I already built up an ink layer earlier this morning.
Materials: Black ink, black and white pen, chalk
Duration: 2.5 hours
So I like tongue piercings XD Not gonna get one but I like looking at them and because I like the charms they use for the piercings after the basic stud. They have really gotten sooo creative with those!
My sister wanted a tongue piercing though but I really can't ;;-;;
for my progression:
I actually had to repaint my base ink layer because I always go pretty light so that I don't have such a hard time catching up on the shading or catching up on the highlight and I think that works for me a lot. But for some cases, I do block out some areas that Ned a solid black, like lack holes XD
Then I do have my first pen layer UwU and as you can see, I blocked out the mouth already
Then I do have my first highlight layer on chalk after about an hour of doing the quick shading XD I think I only did like over an hour of that then I really just chalked it all out. Well the parts that needed like, more blending and opacity because I do like that matted look too on lips
Then at this point, I was already working on the pen highlight and I was wondering if I should acquire a new highlight gel pen because my paper seems to be absorbing the gel pen way too much that I keep needing to re-apply a white pen layer over it just to make it stand out like it should. I mean, a dull one in a different situation could have been nice, but I do need strong highlights for this one.
But for now, I should use up this pen first and just test my patience with how long I can keep layering up my highlight layer
That's all from me for today! I still got to keep up my streak and I am sooo happy! I hope I can catch up on my other prompts and other blogs because I have been out sooo much these past few weeks and my energy is struggling sooo much!

It turned out great... I admire those who manage to complete challenges like Inktober. To be honest, i never participate, ha ha ha. I think i could only complete one per week XD
honestly I'm pretty sure my best would be just 2 weeks or so until i gave up 🤣🤣 inktober just isn't for the working class, i swear 🤣🤣
