Some weatherworn & unapologetic
bright graffiti squiggles
'cross the concrete wall of mind
appear to that crude inner eye
of mine that drunken trails along strange
uneven pock of worldstuff
fraught with odd asymmetries.

To linger, stutter, look again
in double-taken sketchbook glee
and terror at the visceral
uncertainty that curtails me
from piercing through the shroud of pins —
needles urchin'd into me
that draw a sanguinary stream &
fill my fountain pen with ink.

Deep crimson of magmatic lake
that bubbles, percolating slow
to brew the overessenced herb:
elixir of cold thoughts, a draught
of frigid concepts, bitter cure
that overwhelms an absence
with a new lack all its own.

The fret of imperfection
and incarnate-vessel's flaws
that manifest in battered time's
assault upon graffiti-figures
plastered on the wall.

As I was reading the poem it felt like a sort of astral projection or travel, it was as if there's was this plain of gleeful experience that seems really extraordinary and somewhat the imageries were really vivid and the choice of words we're really good and exact. Beautiful poem by all means.
