¡Hola, hola Hivers! ¿qué les ha traído la corriente?
Today I was inspired by making this girl "Moon Goddess" for you. This is my first time using that color palette on skin tones. Honestly, I love it, the skin and the curly hair texture were things I really enjoyed doing.
Hoy me inspiré haciendo a esta chica "Diosa de la luna" para ustedes. Es la primera vez que utilizo esa paleta de colores en tonos de piel. Sinceramente, me encanta, la piel y la textura del cabello rizo fueron cosas que disfruté muchísimo hacer.
I make the sketch in the pose I like the most. For this illustration I only wanted the face and the tousled hair to stand out the most.
Hago el boceto en la pose que más me guste. Para esta ilustración solamente quería que lo que más resaltara fuera el rostro y el cabello alborotado.
Cleaning up the sketch, I focused on the lines of the face, for the hair they would not be necessary as I would directly shape it with the color.
Limpiando el boceto, me centré en las líneas del rostro, para el cabello no serían necesarias ya que le daría directamente forma con el color.
As for the base color, I used an ambient blue, so when I apply the skin, the colors blend and get a tone close to the base.
En cuanto al color base, utilicé un azul de ambientación, así cuando aplico la piel, los colores se mezclan y obtienen un tono cercano al de la base.
With the shadows, I was testing which color looked best. Once I got it, I started to blend it on each extremity where it was needed, also, I took the opportunity to define at once the color of the eyes, which was selected among a very light pink, to give the impression that her eyes are spatial.
Con las sombras, fui tanteando qué color quedaba mejor. Una vez que lo obtengo, empiezo a difuminar por cada extremidad en dónde hiciera falta, además, aproveché para definir de una vez el color de los ojos, que fue seleccionado entre un rosa muy claro, así dar la impresión de que sus ojos son espaciales o "lunares".
I use the same general base color for the hair, the difference is that it stays the same color. With some peach and light blue shades I shape it, as well as with navy blues I detail the shadow of the curls.
Uso el mismo color base general para el cabello, la diferencia es que, este sí se queda del mismo color. Con algunas tonalidades color durazno y celestes le doy forma, al igual que con azules marinos detallo la sombra de los rizos.
Once I have the main thing done, I proceed to lower the opacity of the layer where I have the Lineart. With this, it makes it easier for me to get creative, since I can visualize where I'm missing shadows, blush, or others. I added details like the type of eyelashes and the stars that fall on her face like freckles.
Una vez que tengo lo principal hecho, procedo a bajar la opacidad de la capa en la que tengo el Lineart. Con esto, se me facilita soltarme en cuánto a creatividad, ya que puedo visualizar en dónde faltan sombras, rubor, u otras. Agregué detalles como el tipo de pestañas y las estrellas que recaen en su cara como pecas.
Finally, I placed a dark night type background to highlight the details of the hair and everything in general would complement each other better.
Por último, coloqué un fondo oscuro tipo noche para resaltar más los detalles del cabello y todo en general se complementara mejor.
