In this opportunity I share with you the artwork "La Joven De La Perla" as the name indicates, it uses a pearl earring as a focal point. The painting is currently in the Mauritshuis museum in The Hague, I made an interpretation of it doing some collage in the editing program Photoshop. First I want to tell you a little about this work that I chose, I like the painting, it calls my attention because it is one of the most representative pieces of the Flemish baroque, this work of art also known as Girl with turban or The Dutch Mona Lisa was made by the artist Johannes Vermeer between 1665 and 1667, some say that the young woman that I capture in truth was his eldest daughter.
In my interpretation of this work I wanted to mix something modern and pop, putting him a little more to the present time as headphones, sunglasses, blowing a balloon of gum, a mandala print on the band of his head and a gesture with his hand crossing his fingers in the shape of a heart, Some know it as a gesture of love among Koreans and other Asian cultures that has become a trend among young people, the whole context of the image simulating the cover of a current magazine with the background of a well-known place that is in my city Lima called Jiron De La Union.

En esta oportunidad les comparto la obra de arte "La Joven De La Perla" como el nombre indica, utiliza un pendiente de perla como punto focal. La pintura se encuentra actualmente en el museo Mauritshuis de La Haya, yo lo realice una interpretación haciendo un poco de collage en el programa de edición Photoshop. Primero les quiero comentar un poco acerca de esta obra que elegí, me gusta la pintura, me llama mucho la atención porque es una de las piezas más representativas del barroco flamenco, esta obra de arte también conocida como Muchacha con turbante o La Mona Lisa Holandesa fue realizada por el artista Johannes Vermeer entre los años 1665 y 1667, algunos dicen que a la joven que plasmo en verdad era su hija mayor.
En mi interpretación de esta obra quise mezclar algo moderno y pop, colocándole indumentarias un poco más a la época actual como audífonos, lentes de sol, soplando un globo de chicle, un estampado de mandala en la banda de su cabeza y un gesto con la mano cruzando los dedos en forma de corazón, algunos lo conocen como un gesto de amor entre los Koreanos y otras culturas asiáticas que se ha vuelto tendencia entre los jóvenes, Todo el contexto de la imagen simulando la portada de una revista de actualidad con el fondo de un lugar conocido que está en mi ciudad Lima llamado Jirón De La Unión.
