Iris
In the temple of my mind I have visited almost every day since my cats, mother and son. Rakke and Castro both died three weeks apart. 3 years ago when they moved on.
Now she has come to me and really moved in. Iris is a large Norwegian forest cat.
Fate's lottery who could have imagined it? Iris has had a litter of kittens, one of which is Lovis who lives on top of me. It is my daughter who has Lovis. Fate's irony! Both are from Malmö.
Iris is a real beauty!!!
I have never had (Purebred cats before, only farmers..)
No wonder I dedicate this painting to Bastet, the goddess of all cats.
Bastet was originally a lioness (goddess of war) With age she calmed down, and kind, as only a cat can be.
Today is my 70th birthday which I will celebrate with my little family!
Seventy you can imagine....

Nu har hon kommit till mig och riktigt flyttat in. Iris är en stor Norsk skogskatt. Ödets lotteri vem kunde tänka sig det? Iris har fått en kull ungar vilket en av ungarna är Lovis som bor ovanpå mig. Det är min dotter som har Lovis. Ödets eroni! Båda är från Malmö.

Inte så konstigt att jag tillängnar denna målning till Bastet alla katters gudina.
Bastet ursprungligen en lejoninna (krigsgudinna) Med åldern lugnade hon ner sig, och snäll, som bara, en katt kan vara.
Idag är det min 70-årsdag som jag ska fira med min lilla familj!

I was waiting to see that beauty, not just the painting but Iris!!! I can't believe what a beautiful cat! I was dazzled, and then there was the painting in honour of the goddess Bastet. When I studied Egyptian culture, which you know I love, she was always my favourite goddess, because she represented cats, fertility and femininity.
Your painting is a true tribute to that entire culture, but also to Iris and, of course, to you, and for that reason, happy birthday! I wish you all the best and hope you have a wonderful time with your family! Big hug!🤗

Oh my God! I thought I answered you. It's been really crazy for a few days now:) I wonder if you have purebred cats or regular farm cats! Because you have 2, right?
Don't worry!!! I have two cats. Tony is grey, he's a mixed breed, not purebred, and Cata is a black Siamese. Her mum was black and her dad was Siamese. They're my babies!
The question is, did the cats get buried with the pharaoh or was the pharaoh buried with the cats? After all they can't go to the afterlife without their loyal human who feeds them.
Yes, that's the big question? The cats must have their own area. In the afterlife. Then comes a new game! Finding your allies and that can take time. But apparently they were buried together with cats. In any case, they are the most loved animals in the world even the Arab world who believe that most animals are unclean. When I think about it, I have never actively looked for a cat. All the cats I've had, they've all come to me in some way! And it's magical.
For me its just spiders coming over as pets lol.
