We have red kites soaring over us a lot. They are quite spectacular. I've seen sparrowhawks in the garden too. Always good to see some predators around as a lot of them are struggling. So year of the hawk sounds great to me.

There are a lot of Chinese who will need to be persuaded to replace the Year of the Tiger in a month...
I don't think they can argue with the prophecy... :)
