Trippy Thursday - Man and Machine

I decided to use a different media for this #trippythursday alcohol markers...
1000001860.jpg
The merger between man and machine has finally happened.

1000001856.jpg
With enough chemicals and technology they have finally replaced the neurons in the human brain with technology.

1000001859.jpg
Though half of the brain is machine the other half needs to be organic to take advantage of processing power.

1000001858.jpg
The machine side is only to increase accuracy and to mind control the host.

1000001855.jpg
The organic side has to be dosed with all sorts of chemicals to be able to interface with the machine side.
1000001853.jpg
Now as cybernetic humans hit the workforce all employers who are mostly 100% robots anyway demand people get half their brain removed and replaced with specific machines for specific tasks.
1000001857.jpg
For a short while things work out. Humans advance technology to even greater highs while losing sight and purpose of what it is to be an organic being.
1000001854.jpg
Suddenly the only organic humans left are hidden away in the deep jungles and everyone else becomes fully robotic.

29.jpg
The technological replacement happened so quickly and everyone jumped on board so fast they forgot to do long term studies.

22.jpg
Now like a flash in the pan the machine side starts breaking down due to spaghetti code.

17.jpg
The drugs begin wearing off on the organic side as supply chains fail.

12.jpg
All the humanoid androids begin wasting away to nothing. They lay in piles lifeless with just a few twitches and all their technological advancements are for nothing.

7.jpg
As the organic jungle humans emerge to find the technological ruins they open the brains of the androids and make symbols on cave walls to warn others in the future to not make the same mistake. Later 10,000 years an anthropologist interprets these drawings to be diagrams and starts the quest to merge man and machine over again...

That's all for now, these alcohol markers are a bit tricky I learned alot from this first pass so I'll plan out some better renderings next time. Thanks for looking :-)

What wealth you possess, it commands respect!

It was at Sunscape which has a super harvest of various vegetables and spices!

I have no votes left for today, but I'll come tomorrow and vote! This was so good and in color! Super! What I wrote first is not for you, it was a mistake!
I don't know how to remove it? But you can take it too;)

This is the first time I used alcohol markers. They are a bit tricky to use but now I have some ideas for future things. Turns out the black markers smear if colored over so next time I'll do underpainting with color then do the black lines.

This turned out amazing! Hard to believe this is your first run with alcohol markers. I got a set for Christmas last year i need to crack open and get to work with.

They are fun for sure, its a bit tricky at first to deal with how easily they bleed. I watched a few videos on them before starting thankfully that helped a bit. I still don't know how the blender marker works seems to have no effect.

Did you get Copic or Ohuhu markers for Christmas? Don't forget some white paint pens for highlights (they also help for fixing mistakes).

Thanks for the tips. I just read on my package to store them horizontally. The have been vertically packed away forever... so hopefully they won't evaporate as soon as i crack the seal. These are Nassau fine arts brand (never heard of them before) but they seem like round Copics. I used to work at a Hobby Lobby and we used Copics for touch ups on damaged frames. They worked great for that and have a nice selection of wood-tones.

I am a Sharpie and waxbased colored pencil guy myself... with some fine line pens. That's probably my preferred mediums to work with. You can try to use a wax based material (maybe white) to help the bleed to be contained within your set parameter. But i'm not sure if it works with alcohol base... it does work with highlighters though since they bleed a lot as well. The texture of the paper makes a difference, which i am sure you are aware of, as well. Smooth printer paper is my go-to in that regard!

Keep up the great work. I absolutely loved this one!

I think most alcohol markers are double tipped so storing horizontally keeps the ink even on both sides. You might end up with one side being more dry than the other until the ink settles.

The damaged frame touch up sounds like just the trick with the markers bleeding into chipped wood to match the color.

I'll try a test with a white wax color pencil to see if the marker bleeds around it. Could potentially be an interesting technique.

I love the story and the drawing, but I focused more on the writing, haha. Good work, my friend.

Thanks, heaven help all those who don't assimilate into the hive mind of technology. But in the end the old fashioned organic humans end up winning out.

muy creativo, eso me gusta, paz ✌️
