Hemos llegado al sexto y último post donde les presento la creación de mi colección "MUSICAL BESTIARY". Para esta última obra, me inspiré en la mitología y elegí representar una sirena. En esta pieza, he intentado transmitir una combinación de colores y una mirada encantadora que esconde un matiz de incomodidad y traición.

We've reached the sixth and final post where I present the creation of my collection "MUSICAL BESTIARY." For this last design, I took a mythological preference and chose to depict a mermaid. In this piece, I aimed to convey both colors and a charming gaze that hides a sense of discomfort and betrayal
DISEÑO // DESING
Sin embargo, me tomé un breve momento para detallar todo en mi mente y ver cómo quedaba. Como todos conocen el proceso de colocación, procedí a mostrar solo la textura junto con su título grabado en el CD, acompañado de la textura que iría en el papel rasgado para no perder la tradición de estilo de las ediciones anteriores.
However, I took a little time to visualize everything in my mind, to see how it would look. As everyone is already familiar with the placement process, I proceeded to only showcase the texture along with its title engraved on the CD, accompanied by the texture that would go on the torn paper to maintain the traditional style of the previous editions.
En cuanto al "agua", propuse una textura que se enfoque en la luz y vaya oscureciéndose a medida que esta disminuye. Si se observa, la luz proviene desde la parte posterior, y las sombras están del lado derecho. La adición de burbujas me pareció un toque realista sobresaliente en la portada, y para darle un enfoque especial a la pieza, utilizamos un desenfoque gaussiano en algunas áreas. Además, para resaltar la Traición en su mirada y procedi a darle un resplandor.
In regards to the "water," I proposed a texture that focuses on the light and gradually darkens as it fades away. If you notice, the light comes from behind, and the shadows are on the right side. The addition of bubbles seemed like an outstanding realistic touch to the cover, and to emphasize the piece, we used Gaussian blur in some areas. Additionally, to highlight the sense of betrayal in her gaze, we added a glow.
El cambio de color en el agua fue un factor determinante en la selección de los detalles. Para concluir, añadimos algas marinas con un color que también atraiga la atención, utilizando tonos de verde junto con tonos más oscuros para crear sombras. Jugamos con la palabra "MERMAID" en el título para que su figura traspasara junto a la adición de un pez extra, lo que lo hace visualmente más atractivo.
The change in color for the water was a crucial factor in choosing the details. To wrap it up, we added seaweed with a color that also grabs attention, using shades of green alongside darker tones to create shadows. We played with the title "MERMAID" to make her figure stand out, and we also included an extra fish to enhance its visual appeal.
Para finalizar, dejo mi colección por si les gustaría echar un vistazo. Pronto estaré presentando una segunda edición que, en esta ocasión, estará acompañada de música de diferentes artistas para darle una esencia única a cada portada.
