It all seemed so amazing to me. Keep in mind there wasn't much on TV when I was seven and living in a little country town. We were outdoors kids anyway.
Seeing Star Wars brought things to life though, sword fighting was light sabre fighting, my push bike was an X-Wing fighter and Princess Leia...well, enough said I think. Lol.
I'm pretty pleased to have the box set in BlueRay...watched Episode IV the other day and it took me right back to 1977 again.

Yeah, that makes me smile just thinking about those days in the sun, light sabre fighting and stormtrooper blasting. Funny, even though this is Scotland my childhood memories are often sunny 😀

I lost count of how many stormtroopers I blasted and light sabred as a kid...good times indeed.
Aye, it was all golden sunshine days. Then snow then sun again. Cake remember shit weather but that's probably a testament to human memory!
