Merry Christmas!
We don’t really do Christmas gifts here, but we do get together with the family and appreciate what we do have. This evening, we (with my wife and kids) will visit my parents, where my sisters and my own grandparents (96 and 92 years old) join us. My grandfather is probably up for his last year as his health is declining very fast now, my dad is very sick himself - so that we are able to celebrate our time together today is our biggest gift.
I like the sound of your family gathering and this time of the year is a nice time for it no matter what part of the world you're from and what your beliefs are. I hope you have a wonderful time.
