We are but fragile creatures, with a heart full of emotion,
A mix of joy and sorrow, a constant ebb and flow.
We strive for love and purpose, a sense of our own worth,
And search for truth and meaning, in this world below.
We build and we destroy, we laugh and we cry,
We dance in the sunshine, and watch as the clouds roll by.
We cherish our relationships, and hold on tight to our dreams,
And through it all, we search for a glimmer of hope, it seems.
For in our very nature, there's a yearning to survive,
A drive to conquer adversity, and keep our spirits alive.
And though we may stumble, and fall along the way,
We rise again, with a determination, that won't let us sway.
For in the end, it's our humanity, that sets us apart,
A bond that unites us, in a love that beats in our heart.
So let us cherish each other, and hold fast to what's true,
And find the strength to carry on, no matter what we go through.
