Giving an opinion between my brother's and my father's controversy certainly put me in a difficult position, as they are both somewhat right in their approaches, but too stubborn to admit their mistakes.
And the controversy was not a major one, it stemmed from a football match, which we were watching at the Olympic Games in Paris.
The referee, with the help of the VAR, disallowed a goal scored by the team my dad likes and, of course, he does not agree with the decision, he thinks that the offside that led to the knotting was not there.
My brother thinks otherwise and argues in his favour that the technological means used are infallible, whereas my father disagrees.
I should agree with my brother but I have my doubts about the referee's assessment, so I prefer to watch them continue the controversy and continue to enjoy the match.
