A Picture is Worth A Thousand Words

This picture was taken in 2022. That means that it's been more than twenty five years since then. The picture showed the market of a town in Central Asia. It was taken on a rainy day. There were lots of people buying and selling fruit and vegetables. This picture was one of the most important photos for me. Because it shows how life was like in the past. How people used to live before the great apocalypse.

I have never seen this market with my own eyes. When I saw the photo, I remembered what happened to world during the apocalypse. And I realized that the world is so different now. So much has changed. And yet, I don't know why but I felt sad when I saw this picture. It's because there are so many things in the past that I can never experience again. And maybe that's the reason why I feel sad. Sadness is not something new to me. But it feels like sadness is getting stronger these days.

You've probably heard about the apocalypse. I think you have. Even if you haven't experienced it directly, you must have heard about it somewhere or other. You may have read some books about it.

But no matter where you get your information from, one thing is certain. It's that the world ended because of the apocalypse. The world ended because of the great war between humans and viruses. It was a terrible war. It killed billions of people. The Earth itself turned into a wasteland. How could such a thing happen? How could we let this happen?

Well, the answer is simple. We didn't. We did everything possible to prevent the apocalypse. We tried our best to save humanity. But unfortunately, it was too late.

It all started in 2019. In that year, scientists discovered the existence of a virus called Covid-19. This virus was first discovered in Wuhan, China. Then it spread around the world. Within a few months, the virus had already reached every corner of the globe. By 2020, many people on earth had become infected by the virus.

At first, the infection rate was low. But after a while, it increased rapidly. Soon enough, the infection rate became very high. Within three years, the infection rate had grown to an unprecedented level. Many countries declared a state of emergency. Most governments banned public gatherings. They imposed strict rules and regulations. All these measures helped to control the spread of the virus. By the middle of 2022, the infection rate had dropped significantly.

People started to recover from the infection. They started to regain their health. At first, the recovery process was slow. But gradually, people recovered faster and faster. After two years, almost everyone who had been infected had fully recovered.

Everyone was very happy. Everyone thought that the epidemic was finally over. But that wasn't true. The outbreak had only just begun. People didn't realize that the virus would continue to evolve. That it would keep mutating. It kept changing its shape. Changing its nature.

By 2024, the virus evolved into a new form. This new virus was called "Covid-24". And it was far aggressive than Covid-19. It attacked the human brain. It destroyed the human mind.

The number of victims grew rapidly. There were so many people who lost their minds. So many people who went insane. It was impossible to count them all. In fact, there was no way to measure the exact number of victims. They were losing their minds everywhere. In every country. In every city. In every town. Then people started to lose their memories. They started to forget everything. Their identities. Their personalities. Everything that made them unique individuals. They forgot their families. They forgot their friends. But that wasn't the worst part.

The victims started to kill each other. The world was devastated. It was ravaged by war. People fought against each other. They killed each other. They slaughtered each other. They massacred each other.

Everything changed. The world was no longer the same as before. It was completely different. It was a world full of violence. A world of chaos. A world of horror. A world of despair.

People started to forget how to live in peace. They forgot how to love each other. They forgot how to respect each other. They forgot how to be kind to each other.

In a very short time, the world became a horrible place. It was a place filled with hatred and cruelty. It was a world of death and destruction.

During the apocalypse, many people lost their lives. But there are also many survivors. These survivors have managed to escape from the devastation. They have survived. But they have lost so much. They have lost their loved ones, and homes. They have lost everything. But still, they have survived.

These survivors are special people. They are the last generation. The only generation left in the world. The last survivors. There are many reasons why people survive. Some of them escaped from the cities. Others ran away from the battlefields. Still others hid in the mountains. Some of them took shelter in the forests. Others fled to the desert.

Many years have passed since the apocalypse. The infected people were died or killed by each other. But the survivors were still alive. But they still couldn't forget what happened. They were traumatized by the tragedy. And they suffered from the trauma.

But there was hope. There was always hope.

I am one of these survivors. I was not alone. There were many people like me. We were the last people in the world. We survived because we had to. We had no choice. We had to survive.

We returned to our old lives. We tried to resume normal life. But it was so hard. Our houses were destroyed. Our world was ruined. It was beyond repair. Nothing was left. We had to start over again. We had to rebuild everything.

I found this photo among the ruins. When I saw the photo, I remembered the past. I remembered what happened to the world during the apocalypse. And I realized that the world is so different now. It's so much worse than it used to be.

I thought about the past today. About how the world used to be. I wondered how the world will look like in the future. Will it change again? Will it become better? Or will it become worse?

I don't know. But I know that if I had a chance to return to the past, I would speak to the people of the past. I would tell them that life is wonderful. Despite the pain and suffering. Despite the poverty and misery. Life is wonderful. And it's worth fighthing for it!
