Last weekend, while I was riding my bike, the sun was setting. I took a photo of this moment. And when I got home, I got inspired and wrote poetry.
Sunsets often remind us of endings, yet within their golden light hides the promise of a new beginning. This poem, “New Hope”, reflects how love shines even when the day fades, and how every dusk carries within it the seed of dawn.
A NEW HOPE
The sunset paints the sky with fire,
A canvas born of pure desire.
Your hand in mine, the world stands still,
Love blooms beyond the fading hill.
The golden rays caress your face,
A gentle glow, a soft embrace.
No words are needed, hearts just know,
Together we watch the twilight show.
Each shade of red, a vow renewed,
A silent song the heavens brewed.
The day may end, but not our flame,
The night will whisper your sweet name.
And as the stars begin to rise,
I see forever in your eyes.
The sunset fades, but love will stay,
Guiding us through each new day.
Though the sun disappears beyond the horizon, love and hope remain eternal. Each sunset is not a farewell, but a reminder that tomorrow always brings light again.
