The Fox and the Rooster

When I first saw this image, I felt as if the wall itself was telling a story — a story of cleverness and fear, of instincts and survival.

On one side, a fox hides behind the tall grass, its eyes half-closed in sly amusement. On the other, a small rooster stares back, wide-eyed, trying to decide if it should run or stay still. Between them, only a wall painted with leaves separates danger from innocence.

It feels like a frozen moment — just before something happens. Maybe the rooster will escape. Maybe the fox has changed its mind. Or maybe this is not a hunt at all, but a conversation between two spirits painted on the wall, forever locked in this silent game.

This mural reminds me how art brings life to ordinary places. It turns a grey concrete box into a story full of emotion and imagination — a reminder that even in the middle of the city, wildness still watches us.

Wildness doesn't only watch us but also rules.
Thank you for your great entry.

"A reminder that even in the middle of the city, wildness still watches us." I'll stick with this sentence, excellent short story, good luck in the contest @bojang 🤗.

Thanks ☺️
