I noticed something strange the other day and it was not the first time it happened. But before I tell you about that, I would like to tell you about something I had heard on a podcast. There was a scientist, someone I had seen on the news in the past, and he was talking about dimensions. He explained that they are related to frequencies, a bit like a radio. and how people tune into them based on the frequencies.
I am not sure if I believe in many dimensions or not, but this scientist does. He says that we exist in all of them and when our mood changes, our frequencies do too. Going back to what he said about the "radio" mentioned above, all radio stations are broadcasting at the same time, but we only hear the station we are tuned to. The other stations are present in our home in the forme of frequencies, but we can only hear the one that we are tuned to. Simple, huh?
Just like a radio can only play one station at a time, we can only perceive one dimension at a time. The dimension that we are active in depends on the frequency that our being is emitting at any given time. While countless dimensions exist around us, we are only aware of the one we are currently tuned into. Keep all of that in mind as I tell you about what has been happening to me on a more and more frequent basis.
I have been noticing strange things lately that seem to relate to what that scientist said. I find that when I set something down and then I go back later to grab it, it’s not there. It could be my coffee, my keys or the television remote control. I end up looking everywhere in the house for the item, but cannot find it. Later on I go back, and I find it exactly where I know I left it. The end result is that I am questioning my sanity the first time when I could not find it, then later, questioning my sanity again when I got back and find it where I knew I left it.
Was it there the whole time and I just could not see it? If so, why couldn't I see it?
I am thinking that maybe objects are undergoing a temporary quantum state of “not-being-seen” until observed again! But if that is true, start at the top of this post and consider what this famous scientist expounded.
I love to experiment with everything to find out why things happen, but this one is outside the norms of diagnosis. I can find the cause of why your car is getting poor gas mileage. I can find out why the breakers in your house are tripping (power failures). I love to try different theories until the problem goes away and then try to recreate the conditions that cause the problem until I can keep it from happening again.
This dimensional oddity, selective attention, perceptual blindness thing, or whatever, has caused me to developed a habit of taking a photo or video clip of the room where I know I had left the item before searching the house to find it. I am trying to prove the theory that maybe my body/mind has tuned into a different plane and then (with any luck) tuned back into the one where I had put the item down exactly where I had left it.
So far, I have not had the pictures or videos confirm my suspicion. One of the many times I employed this habit, the item I was missing was indeed in the video I had taken. It was under a piece of paper or a bill that had come in since missing the item. This is a picture of my desk. One could easily miss the remote being sideways on my notepad. I had lost one of my cell phones in that very spot one time. Perceptual blindness?

I know this all sounds wild, but I also think some of you may have had at least one similar experience in your life. Maybe you could not find your keys and someone in your family helps you look for them and then they find it, take you to where they found them, and you question your sight, perception, or memory until you have them back. We can discuss all of this below if you want. That is my story and I am sticking with it.
