Finding myself stuck in doors most days with how the weather has been lately, raining or windy often both, nothing I am not familiar with... I do live on the wet west coast of Canada after all 😅

Recently I ended up taking a fair amount of time away from vlogging due to being stuck inside. I had been fighting with perceptions of my own creative process for a long time. Creation doesn’t always feel or present itself as glamorous to the creator, it’s a lot of effort and scrutiny. In my case that scrutiny is self directed mostly at my environment, noisy and unprofessional yet I often come up with ways of disguising things so I’m comfortable with them...

For the most part until my move happened I had been recording outside, rain or shine, found a couple good sheltered and well lit spots near home or I’d just go out in the backwoods. Where I am now there is no option nearby I have found yet... thus with the new noisy apartment environment and weather plus not being satisfied with my “studio setup” and after an extended period of reflection I have been forced to face the facts...

I have a place to record, often the quiet moments to do so. I can edit nearly any “mistake” into some form of highlight. I have been complimented for the works I have done. Simply put....

Thanks for the support my friend, it's a strange thing how I will torture myself over something that in the end wasn't an issue to begin with 😅

Just need to listen to my inner voice a little more and get out of my analytical mind!
