Ya he sufrido mucho tus mentiras
me miras a los ojos y me dices
que muy pronto volverás,
que será cosa de solo unos días.

Todo aquello lo dices sonriendo
tu bolso de mano ya lleno está,
me pides un beso de despedida
para salir por el umbral.

Pero como creerte todo aquello,
ya te has ido muchas veces
y yo me quedo esperándote fiel,
como un religioso a su salvador.

Pero te lo advirtió mujer,
ya mi corazón no podrá soportar,
si hoy te vas te prometo
que mañana te empiezo a olvidar.

Tal vez me duela en el alma
y en el alcohol me vaya a ahogar
pero sé que soy buena persona
y alguna otra mujer me va amar.
