There was no need for words,
nor plans drawn in the mist,
just an exchange of glances,
where time stood still,
and hearts spoke in whispers.
It was a ‘stay’ disguised as silence,
a moment stolen from the clock,
like a sigh that escapes,
among the shadows of the night,
and the echo of a heartbeat that can be felt.
Your eyes, two universes,
reflecting a world that lights up,
drawing paths in the air,
while desire danced softly
between the disordered sheets of dreams.
And so, without mediation,
we merged into the essence,
being fire, being air,
turning the moment into a poem
that only we read, in the twilight.
No, there was no need for words,
only the magic of the implicit,
a ‘stay,’ a hug,
in the touch of a soul,
weaving a destiny between the sheets.
