I met a guy waiting at a tire shop last Sunday morning, I needed to get a flat fixed, I over heard him say he was going to church that morning. In the waiting room I asked if he liked to read the Bible? He said he did, and asked me if I liked to read the Bible.
I told him I did and that sometimes we just keep putting things together, Line by line, precept by precept, a little here and a little there. We talked of a lot of things, then I mentioned I gave up Reiki and new age, fornication, masturbation and porn for Jesus.
He wanted to know how I did it. I told him that fasting and praying does wonders, but that Jesus also said that the believers can cast out devils in his name as mentioned in Mark 16:17.
Then I mentioned that Jesus also told us that we can cast out our own devils in his name, I brought the part were, if there is a beam in your eye how can you get the mote out of your brothers eye? First cast out the beam out of your own eye, then you can see clearly to cast out the mote in your brother's eye.
So right there Jesus just told us that we can cast out our own devils in Jesus name. I told the guy, if they don't come out, then there is still lots of praying and fasting to grow stronger in the Lord.
But I told him, Remember in Revelation were the 3 unclean spirits come out of the mouth of the dragon like frogs? So I used that to tell him the unclean spirits come out of the mouth. I told him, you might cough, or yawn or even throw up, and in opening your mouth an unclean spirit or spirits may come out.
I told him that every unclean spirit that comes out still weakens the group of unclean spirits in the body and one may notice a difference.
I told him the fornication was easier to get rid of, of course throw out all the porn magazines, books and videos, clean out the computer of them, but the masturbation was harder, I told him after I did masturbate, cause I seen something that cause me to fall, and could be some pretty girl flirting. But after I masturbated I felt awful, time to repent, but also to cast out devils, I told him to use the same words that Jesus used to cast out devils, but in Jesus name. I told him it does work.
There was a person by the name of Derek Prince, he said, after you cast out devils in Jesus name, you must see a difference. So the guy was really happy to talk to me and kept on wanting to shake my hand.
We talked of other things like Balaam's donkey and the jawbone of the ass that Samson used to kill a thousand men and that same jawbone of an ass did God cleave a hole in that same jawbone of an ass to give Samson water to drink after such a great victory, but that is another story.
I kept on talking to the guy until his car work was done. As for me, my tire was fixed and that was good cause that day I had to go pick up my cousin in another city and drive us yet to another town where my sister lives. A nice safe trip.
