'Ok class, a quick history quiz'. 'John, what happened on the Ides of March?' 'Julius Caesar's assassination sir.' 'Tom, 1815?' 'Waterloo sir.' 'And Bill, what occurred on the Night Of The Long Knives?' Bill momentarily racked his brain then the blindingly obvious answer struck him. 'Stabbings sir,' he announced triumphantly.

Haha x 2.5 ! My cup runneth over:)

Took me a sec there to do the math.

I love your tiny stories. They are always tidy and surprising, and usually amusing. Worth at least haha x 1 every time.

An endorsement indeed!:)

You say so much with so little... It's amazing what kind of punch well crafted lines can deliver.

I know, I'm hilarious 🙃

I’d have to delve in more into what caused the assassination of Julius Ceaser
I was even shocked when I learnt he was assassinated. I thought he died a natural death

Weird. Works fine in the U.S. but maybe not in Europe? It’s The Last Day of June 1934 by Al Stewart.

Very apropos. Obviously, Billy wasn't familiar with it:)

Hahahaha🤣🤣
