“We need to talk,” said Jen, grinding coffee, her face stern. “I know about last night.”
“Oh God, Jen, I’m so sorry. It meant nothing. I was drunk and she—”
“What I was going to say,” Jen interrupted, “is that I know about the five hundred quid you loaned Tom.”

The prompt is Grind
The image is my own.

Jen is fine though, she keeps talking of the loan 🤣
If I'd had more than 50 words at my disposal, her next line would have been 'but now I know you're not only a profligate loser but a cheat as well'
😂😂 tom least expected this reply from her
The next thing she did was to kick his cheating arse out the door!:)
Well deserved.
Oops....
I can see you're left almost speechless by my brilliance.
😂 oh Tom! Tsk tsk...
Condemned by his own words!
This story really shows how important honesty and communication are in relationships. I like how it turns out to be about trust rather than betrayal ,a good reminder that not everything is what it seems at first.
All of that in just 50 words? I'm a little genius! 🙃
How did you get that story out of that prompt😂
Kudos to you!
Pure genius, I suppose:)
And that's why it's never a good idea to assume knowing, but rather confirm the suspicion. That Tom has to work on his communication skills.
You're all mixed up!:)
That's okay. It's been a long day. Weeks. Scrambled brain is not the worst these days.
No worries. I know you're under pressure. I couldn't expect you to wade through such a long screed:)
Oops!
Thanks for the morning grin.
Thanks fr grinning and of course for reading right to the end:)
