if your dog shits .png

Just as machinery had obviated the need for our physical work, so AI, sold to humanity as an agent of progress, gradually rendered our limited mental capabilities redundant, until finally, humankind was completely in thrall to the machines.

Wow - we will be thralled in and enthralled. We will be become "useless eater"........and hopefully humankind will still have a purpose. 🤔😞

It just concerns me a little that we are losing many of our basic life skills and the ones we're replacing them with are computer-based. Now we're heading into a scenario where even the food we eat will be lab-produced. Just imagine some event that took down the grid. We'd be helpless.
I know, I'm just being an alarmist. That could never happen. Or could it?

I share the same concern - to be honest. In the quest for convenience most are not even concerned - some think it is just technological advancement. However, it would indeed be a disaster if the grid goes down. In that case no internet -no fake food production and soon no mobility/food transportation when there are all are electric vehicles.

You might have heard the leader of the WEF warning about a "possible" cyber attack during their last meeting. Hmm I do not hope it happens but one must take heed with these foreshadowings.

Indeed I did hear him and there are so many others warning of an EMP or suchlike. Perhaps it's all just scaremongering but better to be as prepared as you can be.

Indeed, I hope it is scare mongering but better to be prepared and nothing happens than vice versa.

240 characters on the dot. Really precise.

The thumbnail reminds me of a friend who wanted to give his dog a mop stick to clean up her urine. His demonstration and thoughts were quite hilarious.

I have four hounds, all well-trained in the art of moppery. I'm now working on the chickens!

Must have taken a lot of training to get there.

And a mountain of doggie-treats!

Exactly! Good one! You are so good at this, and I love the way your mind works.

Perhaps because we seem to think along the same lines.

Sometimes it's better not to say anything hahahahaha I laughed and thought...and what will happen tomorrow?

Probably the same shit as happened today and yesterday!

Interesting, I just wrote a post about the joys of AI and then I read this. I think as long as we treat it like a tool and get it to pick up our dog shit we can coexist.

It's not co-existence I see as a problem but rather our total dependence upon technology in our daily lives, should some natural (or unnatural) event suddenly deprive us of it.

I'll be first in line to buy the dog shit-picking robot. I have 4 hounds producing piles of excrement!

This is too much!!

😅😁

Ah, sure I know! But the contest calls for exactly 240 characters. So, while I could have said it in just 19 ...' THE MACHINES DID FOR US' ... it wouldn't have qualified for the competition.

I would also like to say here that if robots start working everywhere, it will be a big problem for people who earn their livelihood through this work.

I wouldn't worry too much about that. By that time we'll all be living the high life on our UBI:)

Yeah you are absolutely right. As time changes, so do new ways of earning.

240 characters with 38 words? Makes a lot of sense. The thumbnail had me rolling. Seriously I'd pick up the dog if not for the message at the bottom 😂

Pick up the mutt and run away
And then there'll be no fine to pay
unless the police collect the shit
and do DNA tests on it.
🙃

Powerful.

That sign 😂😂😂
