What would be a dangerous territory for a child? It could be, perhaps, a war zone? No, it is dangerous for everyone. How about a school? No way! It is dangerous for adults and children alike. For the former because they can suffer from too much stress, and for the latter because they die of boredom.
So, what is this dangerous territory for children? Well, it's not exactly a physical place. It is, rather, something incorporeal: the absence of parents.
I think this is the really dangerous territory for children, insofar as it makes them become what they never dreamed of and, by extension, everything that our societies take as undesirable.
