Aborted Rainfall| AN ORIGINAL POEM

in Freewriters3 years ago

From the west came cold wind
That saw dancing trees
Afterwards, migrating black clouds
Hurry across the face of the heavens
Before flashes of light
From an invisible camera lens
And the sound of grumbling thunder
Descended upon the neighbourhood
And before some jaunty-looking children
Could undress to play in the looming rain
The sun had reclaimed the sky
Mining blue out of the grey clouds
The party ended before it even started!

@gandhibaba, Every Darkness is not bad. Dark Clouds arrives and inspire Earth Beings to Rain Dance. Stay blessed.
